Federal Reserve Chairman: Bitcoin is a gold-like value reserve

Today, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said during his testimony in the US Senate that he did not see Bitcoin being used as a payment method. However, he pointed out that in the global economy, Bitcoin has increasingly replaced gold as a value reserve. Senators also mentioned that Bitcoin is uncomfortable in the long run to replace the dollar's status as a world reserve currency. Powell called this possible, albeit only for a long time. He also stressed that the United States should not assume that the status of the dollar as a reserve currency can last forever.
