According to official sources, the US Senate Bank, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee will hold a hearing on July 30, local time, with the theme “Reviewing the regulatory framework for digital currencies and blockchains”. Hearing witnesses include: Jeremy Allaire, Circle co-founder and CEO of the Blockchain Association, Rebecca M. Nelson, Congressional trade and finance expert, and Mehrsa Baradaran, a professor at the University of California.
