Civic announces partnership with BitGo to launch cryptocurrency wallet

According to CoinDesk on July 24th, startup Civic Technologies announced a partnership with BitGo to launch a cryptocurrency wallet that provides anonymity while providing a backup solution. The wallet will store the minimum user data in the form of KYC information for account recovery and compliance purposes only. The company does not share this information with BitGo, but relies on encrypted storage companies to retain redundant client signatures. It is reported that Civic plans to release the wallet in the fourth quarter of 2019.
