Ripple to the Congress open letter: Do not give a general description of the digital currency

On July 28th, Ripple posted an open letter to the US Congress on its official website. In the letter, Ripple said: 1. Many people in the blockchain and digital currency industries are responsible participants. We are responsible for US and international law. We have a responsibility to serve the greater interests. 2. We believe that digital currencies have the opportunity to supplement existing currencies such as the US dollar instead of replacing them. 3. We urge you to support regulatory requirements that do not put US technology innovation companies at a disadvantage and classify them in a way that identifies the fundamental differences in digital currencies – rather than describing them in general terms.
