Plouton Mining Raises $1 Million for Its Solar Bitcoin Mine Construction

According to Bitcoin Magazine on August 3, cryptocurrency mining company Plouton Mining has raised $1 million to build a sustainable solar bitcoin mine in the Mojave Desert in California. Given that bitcoin mining is using more and more non-renewable energy, some believe it will lead to global climate change. Plouton Mining said on its official website that the company's goal is to “build a green, scalable and sustainable mining solution that benefits investors, the environment and local utilities.” Odaily Planet Daily Note: Plouton Mining referred to the mine as “the largest solar mining center in North America” with a total budget of $35 million, of which $10 million was for solar energy and $10 million was for mining. The company plans to use 5,000 seven-nano SHA256 ASIC bitcoin miners.
