Swisscom Bank's half-year profit fell 14%, mainly due to the decline in cryptocurrency trading volume

According to Finews, Swissquote's profit in the first half of 2019 fell by 14%, and the decline in data was largely related to the expansion of its cost and the decline in encrypted trading volume. In the first six months of 2019, Swisstra’s net income fell from 25.7 million Swiss francs in the same period in 2018 to 22 million Swiss francs. Operating income was almost flat at 172.2 million francs, and net fee and commission income fell 18% to 45.6 million francs, mainly due to the decline in cryptocurrency trading and weak trading in the first few months of this year.
