Reuters: North Korea steals $2 billion in cryptocurrencies and fiats from banks and exchanges

According to Reuters, a confidential UN report shows that North Korea is funding its weapons of mass destruction with cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies stolen from banks and exchanges. The report that Reuters saw was studied by an "independent expert" and submitted to the UN Security Council North Korea Sanctions Committee last week. The report said that North Korea used "widespread, increasingly complex" hacking methods to collect about $2 billion in funds, which were money laundered through the Internet.
