Blockstream reveals bitcoin mining facilities details, Fidelity Applied Technology Center and LinkedIn founders are early customers

Blockchain technology company Blockstream revealed details about their large bitcoin mining data centers in Quebec, Canada and Adel, Georgia. These facilities have a total energy consumption of 300 megawatts and are currently used to host enterprise-level mining activities in addition to Blockstream's own mining operations. Blockstream will open facilities to small-scale miners in the future. Currently, their two active customers include Fidelity Center for Applied Technology and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. In addition, Blockstream will launch the first mining pool as quickly as possible, with a focus on reinvesting more power into individual miners through the BetterHash protocol.
