Overstock will open the tZERO securities token market to retail traders on August 12

TZERO CEO Saum Noursalehi said retail investors will start trading on their platform on August 12. Although the platform was put into use in January, only certified investors were allowed to participate in the transaction. Currently, there are only two tokens available on this Alternative Trading System (ATS): tZERO's own private equity token TZEROP and Overstock's digital voting series A-1 preferred stock OSTKO (launched in June). In order to promote tZERO's trading activities, its parent company Overstock previously announced plans to issue more of these digital stocks to all shareholders as dividends in the next two months.
