Coin security: Litecoin users suffered a large-scale dust attack this morning

The official website of the currency official said that the Litecoin user suffered a large-scale dust attack (Dusting attack) at about 8 am today. It also provides a record of one of the large-scale transactions. Dust attacks refer to a relatively new type of malicious activity in which hackers and scammers attempt to violate their privacy by sending a small amount of cryptocurrency to the personal wallet of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency users. The attacker then tracks the trading activity of these wallets and performs a combined analysis of multiple addresses to identify the person or company behind each wallet. The goal is to eventually connect these dusty addresses and wallets with their respective companies or individuals. If the above method is successful, the attacker may use this knowledge to attack the target, through a well-designed phishing attack or network extortion threat.
