The SEC appealed the VERI issuing company and asked the court to freeze the defendant’s assets

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a lawsuit against a New York-based man, Reginald Middleton, and two companies, New York-based company Veritaseum Inc. and Delaware-based Veritaseum LLC. The SEC claims that these entities conducted fraudulent and unregistered ICOs (raising approximately $14.8 million) from the end of 2017 to 2018 and requested the US District Court to urgently freeze the defendant's assets.
