According to CoinDesk, people familiar with the matter said that the London-based global bank Barclays Bank will no longer cooperate with the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. The source said that although Coinbase has found alternatives in the UK startup Clearbank, this change indirectly inconveniences the exchange's users, and Clearbank is expected to resume FCS access to Coinbase by the end of the third quarter. Previously, Barclays Bank also linked Coinbase to the UK's Rapid Pay Program (FPS), allowing users to immediately extract and deposit pounds on the exchange. The end of the partnership has limited access to FPS for Coinbase users. As of now, Barclays Bank, ClearBank and Coinbase declined to comment.
