On August 19th, the US government law enforcement defense and securities litigation lawyer Jake Chervinsky tweeted that one of the most often heard was that "Ripple and regulators are closer, so Ripple is not regulated," which is illogical. This argument actually argues with the opposite view: if there is no regulatory risk, then Ripple will not pay attention to the relationship with the government.
