Bank of America, the second-largest bank in the US, is seeking to apply for a “partitioned” security system patent for the digital currency wallet, which provides different levels of access to storage funds for different users. The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced the application last week, indicating that the bank filed an application titled “Multi-Layer Digital Wallet Security” to the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in February 2018. Technical manager Manu Kurian is listed as the inventor.
