Professor Wang Yongge of the University of North Carolina: There are two major requirements for the next generation consensus mechanism.

On August 20th, the "POW'ER 2019 Global Developers Conference" hosted by Mars Finance was held in Beijing. Professor Wang Yongge of the University of North Carolina said in sharing that the next-generation consensus mechanism has two major requirements: 1. Rethinking the impact of network connectivity on the security of blockchain consensus protocols cannot be different for different network levels. Assumptions – the security of a system depends on the weakest link; 2. The design of a consensus protocol that is truly secure in an asynchronous network can resist the unreliability of the broadcast protocol and the network does not have sufficient connectivity.
