The cost of a new protocol for a DoS attack on Zcash is as low as $2.89/day

On August 26th, according to recent estimates, a denial of service (DoS) attack on Zcash through a protocol called "Sapling Woodchipper" costs only about $3 a day. The agreement's creator, Duke Leto, said he created the agreement to force the Zcash team to take action on serious problems that plague the network. It is reported that the protocol-level DoS is listed under the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) CVE-2019-11636 and is considered to be a "low-cost way to fill all the transactions of all blocks" on Zcash.
