Algorand proposes a scheme to implement alternative token generation and atomic multi-party transfer execution in the first layer

Algorand officials today announced two new features to eliminate the complexity of smart contracting in the second-tier expansion solution by implementing alternative token generation and atomic multi-party implementations at the first level of the blockchain. These two new features include the generation of new alternative tokens and the implementation of atomic multiparty transfer (AMPT), both implemented at the first level of the blockchain and will be part of the Algorand consensus protocol, safe, efficient and easy to use. Algorand's goal is to implement a functional set of generic smart contracts in the first tier, and a non-replaceable token (NFT) module option will be introduced in the future.
