Last week’s Financial Times reported that two members of the Libra Association were considering withdrawing from the project. However, the Libra Association's encryption members, including Coinbase, Xapo, Anchorage and Bison Trails, remain openly optimistic about the project. The CEO of alternative bank company Xapo and blockchain infrastructure startup Bison Trails confirmed that it is still a Libra member and does not intend to leave. Coinbase is the only company in the encryption field that provides an absolute answer to CoinDesk. A spokesperson for Coinbase said: "We are still a member, as announced in June." In addition, venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Union Square Ventures confirmed to CoinDesk that they are still committed to the project.
