Oli Harris, head of cryptocurrency strategy at JP Morgan Chase, said the blockchain project Quorum has “restarted” in London, Singapore and the US in the past six months. The team has moved the privacy layer of the blockchain to Tessera, a protocol built in Java that is more business-friendly. In the past six months, multiple branches have been updating Quorum's privacy layer. JPMorgan Chase and Microsoft Azure are working to promote Quorum, which aims to be a bridge between business and banks. It is reported that JP Morgan Chase has 220 banks as part of its inter-bank information network.
