Slovak scholars: Blockchain is promising in smart parking and transportation

According to Sina Finance, Michal Kvasnica, dean of the School of Industrial Automation Information at Slovak University, said in a speech today that the blockchain can provide an intelligent platform to integrate various devices and various links. Possible applications of blockchain in three areas are smart parking, cold chain transport of pharmaceuticals, and “fresh chain”. The concept of “fresh chain” may be quite new, because this concept was created by me. The concept of “fresh chain” is the expansion of the cold chain. The data transmitted by sensors in the future will not be limited to the temperature of cold chain transportation. These data can be other indicators such as pressure and concentration. The data shows that 1.6 billion tons of food per year on the planet is wasted due to poor transportation conditions. Sensors using blockchain technology can effectively reduce these wastes and help us build a greener planet.
