South Korea Financial Services Commission candidate chairman said it will maintain the current cryptocurrency policy

On August 28th, Eun Sung-soo, president of the Korea Financial Services Commission (FSC), said on Monday that he would maintain the policy of Choi Jong-ku, the former FSC chairman, in the field of cryptocurrency. He expressed doubts about the inclusion of tokens in the existing financial system. He believes that the inclusion of virtual currency in institutional financing may lead to recurring speculative booms and money laundering issues, and should first establish a sound legal basis.
