The French exchange Coinhouse has been attacked by hackers and has switched to maintenance mode to protect user funds.

Coinhouse, the French cryptocurrency exchange, said the company had suffered a phishing attack and that hackers entered its client mail distribution database during the attack. According to Coinhouse's official tweet today, hackers successfully accessed a client database containing names and email addresses and used this information to start phishing attacks on users. Coinhouse therefore advises its customers not to click or reply to emails about the exchange and immediately switch the platform to maintenance mode to prevent hackers from obtaining user funds. The exchange claims that they can contain hackers and quickly send an email to customers explaining how to avoid phishing attacks.
