Ripple-backed startup Coil provides $100 million in funding for creators and developers to drive online monetization

Ripple-backed startup Coil is working with Mozilla and Creative Commons to provide $100 million in funding for content creators and developers. The new funding program is geared towards coders and creators who support and promote network monetization. Coil allows fans to reward creators in cryptocurrency or fiat currency to provide direct monetization work output. Note: Ripple recently invested 1 billion XRPs into Coil to help drive adoption of the XRP and Interledger Protocol (ILP), an effective way to route payments across different ledgers.
