According to The Information, ConsenSys, a venture capital firm of Ethereum co-founder Joe Lubin, is seeking to raise $200 million from outside investors, which is valued at $1 billion. According to reports, ConsenSys is releasing materials to Chinese investors, claiming that the company expects revenue of $50 million this year, mainly from contracts with corporate and government customers. According to the report, ConsenSys received only $21 million in revenue in 2018. It is unclear how this revenue relates to the startups of ConsenSys.
