CoinDesk will move into the building of the parent company DCG in 2020

On Tuesday, employees of cryptocurrency news publishing company CoinDesk were told that the company would move into the office space of the building where its parent company, the Digital Money Group (DCG), will undergo a transition in March 2020. DCG founder and CEO Barry Silbert has sent his first e-mail to all CoinDesk employees, outlining the four reasons for this move, and is committed to finding new ones with the media company (one of the three wholly-owned subsidiaries). At the same time as business synergies, the parent company will continue to respect and enhance its editorial independence. CoinDesk was founded in 2013 and has been working in the WeWork office in Manhattan. Two other subsidiaries, Grayscale Investments and Genesis Trading, work in Manhattan's DCG office building
