Car manufacturer Daimler completes first deal on Marco Polo blockchain trading network

On September 25th, well-known car manufacturer Daimler completed the first transaction on the blockchain-based Marco Polo network. It is reported that in the commercial trade pilot transaction, Daimler, which has brands such as Mercedes-Benz, handled the data needed to exchange payments with engineering company and component manufacturer Durr. The German Baden-Württemberg State Bank (LBBW) also participated in the transaction. The pilot project included an order and delivery agreement, a balanced system deployed by Dürer subsidiary Schenck on the Marco Polo network, and payments were pre-arranged through Daimler Bank's conditional commitment.
