Fundstrat Global Advisors co-founder Tom Lee said in an interview recently that institutional investors are investigating the obstacles of Bitcoin. The first problem is that the encryption field is still too small for institutional investors. The total market value of Bitcoin is 180 billion US dollars, gold is 9 trillion, the stock market is 66 trillion, the bond market is 86 trillion, and bitcoin is even less than 0.5% of total assets. The second problem is the lack of regulatory protection. In the United States, Bitcoin does not have sufficient legal and regulatory protection to prevent the White House from issuing administrative orders prohibiting bitcoin.
