Bitfinex: "Issuing Tether to Manipulate the Market" is based on false assumptions or will file a lawsuit

Bitfinex just announced that there is an article that says Bitfinex is releasing Tether to manipulate the encryption market. Bitfinex claims that it strongly opposes what the article says, and that the article's arguments and conclusions are based on false assumptions, incomplete and carefully selected data, and incorrect argumentation methods. Bitfinex wants to hire a lawyer to file a lawsuit.
