QuadrigaCX founder will sign a settlement agreement and will pay $9 million to repay the user

Jennifer Robertson, the widow of QuadrigaCX founder Gerald Cotten, announced in a statement Monday that nearly $9 million in assets were being transferred to the bank’s bankruptcy trustee, Ernst & Young Canada. Robertson said she signed a voluntary settlement agreement to return most of her assets and real estate assets to QuadrigaCX to benefit affected users. These assets were originally from QuadrigaCX when Gerald was in office. Robertson said that since her husband died at the end of last year, she "do everything she can" to help QuadrigaCX recover assets.
