Former President of the US CFTC: 2019 will be a year in which regulators may begin to consider some responses to cryptocurrencies

Christopher Giancarlo, former chairman of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), said he expects 2019 to be a year in which regulators may begin to consider some responses to cryptocurrencies. “What I want to say is that in 2019, more and more people realize that regulators and policy makers need to not only be aware of this, but also need to do more, but in fact they may need to study some policy countermeasures.”
