The Deputy Governor of the Bank of France called for the establishment of a global regulatory framework for cryptographic assets

Denis Beau, deputy governor of the Bank of France, called for a global regulatory framework for cryptographic assets at the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF) meeting in London on Tuesday. Beau said that it is indeed necessary to maintain overall consistency under the principle of “same activities, same risks, same rules” to prevent regulatory arbitrage. Beau said that the only way to ensure this is to establish a standardized regulatory system.
