HTC Launches Blockchain Mobile Phone Exodus 1s to Support Trading and Lending Digital Assets

HTC announced the launch of its blockchain mobile phone Exodus 1s, which is already equipped with cryptocurrency-related features that allow users to trade and borrow digital assets. The phone is priced at 219 euros ($244) and can be purchased with the equivalent cryptocurrency. This is cheaper than the previous generation of phones that cost $699. HTC believes that this new product will help it stand out in the sluggish smartphone market.
HTC said that one of the outstanding features of this new phone is the ability to run a "complete bitcoin node." Buyers must purchase a 400GB memory card to store the Bitcoin blockchain on the phone. This basically means that users will be able to verify transactions on the underlying bitcoin network. It is reported that this phone will initially be sold to Europe, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and will be launched in other markets.
