CME bitcoin futures trading volume soared, more institutional investors increased

Credit analysis company Skew said that in October this year, the long position of Bitcoin futures held by CME institutional accounts rose again, with long-term positions exceeding 1100. It is reported that bitcoin prices have risen since October 18. Since then, CME's bitcoin futures trading volume has increased from 7874 contracts on October 18 to the current 8234 contracts. The number of investors who are long on CME has not only increased from near zero to 1110, but the number of short-selling investors has also continued to decline. According to CME, institutions include pension funds, endowment funds, insurance companies, mutual funds, and portfolio/investment managers whose clients are primarily institutional investors.
