In a policy statement, Yang said that if the election becomes president, he will clarify the cryptocurrency and digital asset market legislation by defining what is a token and when it is a security; and clarifying which federal agencies have regulatory power over the crypto asset space. Provide consumer protection in this area; clarify the tax implications of owning, selling, and trading digital assets; and promote national recognition of the protection afforded by a limited liability company.
