Coca-Cola bottling plant uses SAP's blockchain technology to make the supply chain more transparent and efficient

According to U.Today, Coca-Cola's bottling plant now relies on a blockchain solution developed by the German software company SAP to track all transactions taking place within 70 franchise companies. Coca-Cola North America (CONA) works with 12 of the largest bottling plants to distribute cola products, which must process approximately 160,000 orders per day. By embracing the blockchain, CONA will increase the efficiency and transparency of the vast supply chain. CONA wants to reduce the time between order reconciliations from months to days because it can view all transactions at different bottling plants on a distributed ledger.
