Deputy Minister of Finance of Russia: Legislators' supervision of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency seems to have no clue

Recently, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Moiseev said that the main purpose of Russia's proposed "digital assets" law is to legalize the ICO, which is expected to be reviewed by the Duma in May. But legislators have come to realize that regulating bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is futile because the legislator's design simply cannot regulate bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Experts also pointed out that trying to manage decentralized cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin, would make the government seem powerless, and government officials are quietly using billions of dollars to buy bitcoin.
