On November 8th, the “2019 World Blockchain Conference·Wuzhen” hosted by Babbitt was officially opened. The conference gathered more than 100 global blockchains, digital assets, AI, 5G experts and scholars, and technical geeks. Opinion leaders and founders of popular projects, with the theme of “application unbounded”, explored the application of blockchain, technology frontiers, industry trends and hot issues, and promoted blockchain technology and industrial innovation.
ChainNode (chain node) CEO, Babbitt partner Qu Zhaoxiang delivered a keynote speech on "Culture, Flow and Robotics".
- Due to the imbalance between supply and demand of traffic, there is a false flow of robots in the blockchain community. On the one hand, blockchain project parties and platform parties have emerged in large numbers, and real traffic demand has increased greatly. On the other hand, due to the disappearance of demographic dividends and market cycles, online promotion and flow ports have been restricted, and real traffic growth is hard to find.
- In order to change the above situation, we should find the driving force behind the blockchain flow. Specifically, we can start from the two directions of cultural creativity and popular science.
- At the beginning of the year, ChainNode launched a blockchain cultural brand “chain work”, hoping to use some more “soft”, warmer and more human elements. In addition, we launched the “Uncle Blockchain” popular science program, and we also hope to cooperate with excellent public chains at home and abroad to cultivate a group of KOLs with deep knowledge and high sense of identity.
- 11000+ participants, 130+ speakers, 13.5 million+ full network exposure, World Blockchain Conference·Wuzhen created these “data miracles”
- Wuzhen How to dominate the transaction? Five senior investors explain the trend of blockchain investment in 2020
- Wuzhen·BKEX (coin guest) CEO Ji Jiaming: How to make digital asset circulation more valuable
- Wuzhen Hu Jie: Libra vs DCEP, one is a new bottle of new wine, and the other is a new bottle of old wine.
- Wuzhen·Policy is coming. Are you waiting to be acquired by BAT or become the blockchain native BAT?
- Li Bin, CEO of Wuzhen·International Cultural Chain: Opportunities and Reflections on Chinese Cultural Digital Asset Chain
The following is the full text of the speech, Babbitt finishing:
Hello everyone, I am Qu Zhaoxiang, I am very glad to have the opportunity to share with you.
In fact, the two former guests, one is doing mining, the other is doing exchanges. As far as the entire blockchain industry is concerned, we know that there are usually three troika concepts: mines, exchanges, and media communities. ChainNode, its predecessor is the Babbitt forum, we are equivalent to the representative of the entire community.
Today my theme is called Culture, Flow and Robotics. I believe that some friends will be confused. These three seemingly unrelated words are how to put them together.
Difficulties – robots create false traffic and interfere with blockchain communities
First look at the truth. According to data published in a 2018 report by the New York magazine's Intelligencer magazine, less than 60% of the traffic on the Internet today is generated by real human behavior. In other words, more than 40% of Internet traffic comes from robots. According to data released by Facebook, they deleted 2.2 billion fake accounts in the first quarter of this year, and these figures were only 60 in the same period last year.
In comparison, the Facebook Q3 quarterly report mentioned that its current daily life is about 2.45 billion. Comparing these two values, we can find an amazing fact: the number of robot account registrations on the Internet may have far exceeded the actual user registration. In fact, this is a very interesting fact. Some people even think that we have reached an inflection point, or are about to go to an inflection point. Now, there are some robotic traffic and false traffic judgment systems on the Internet that can correctly distinguish between robot flow or inflection point flow. Of course, the system may determine the flow of real people as robot traffic, and the robot flow is determined to be real traffic, but this is not our focus today. Our focus is that the robot's false traffic can cause some confusion.
What I said just now is data from the Internet. In fact, the blockchain community faces the same problem. So what is the root cause of fraud? The answer is the imbalance between flow supply and demand. From the perspective of demand, the entire blockchain project side and platform side are now springing up, they are all real traffic demanders. From the perspective of supply, the current demographic dividend has disappeared, and because the blockchain is largely affected by the market cycle itself, online promotion and flow ports have also encountered extreme restrictions. Under such restrictions, real traffic growth is very difficult.
Breaking the game – looking for endogenous driving force for blockchain traffic
What should we do at this time? We should find the driving force behind the blockchain traffic. In other words, how can we make the blockchain really popular? If we want to achieve this, then we must start from these two directions: one is cultural creativity; the second is science.
The way to break the game (1) – cultural creativity
Let me talk about cultural creativity first. Cultural creativity is very interesting, and there are very successful cases in other fields. Give two examples:
One is the fruit shell net. The fruit shell network is the top community in the country in the direction of science. It previously launched a cultural calendar product called the “species calendar”. This product has not only achieved great commercial success, but also greatly promoted the popularity and popularization of popular science in the general public.
The second is the secondary culture. The secondary culture has greatly promoted the development of the secondary culture through the carriers such as the A station and the B station, as well as various online and offline methods similar to the fruit shell. In the past, we would think that the secondary culture would be a subculture of the minority, and now the secondary culture has entered mainstream life and become a very common mainstream culture. I believe that everyone will see a barrage or other very second element in some non-secondary programs.
Back in the blockchain field, there have been some cases of cultural communication in the blockchain field.
This screenshot probably happened when US President Trump launched a series of new policies. At the time, Americans were more worried and worried about the depreciation of the dollar and even collapse. At this time, there was a project party who bought a billboard with TIME FOR PLAN B (time is an alternative), and B used the bitcoin symbol, just to grab the public’s heart. The timing of a PlanB (alternative). This not only recommended Bitcoin to people, but also improved the general public's perception and understanding of Bitcoin.
At the beginning of this year, we also made a similar attempt to launch a blockchain cultural brand “chain work”. These are the surrounding areas of Wenchuang that we have already launched online. We hope to use some of the more "grounded" elements that we thought were blockchains, very hardcore technology. However, the idea behind us is that we want to use something more human and warmer.
For example, the middle pillow is the idea we have been advocating in the blockchain, computing is power. In the morning, Jia Nan Zhi Zhi Kong also mentioned this point, which is a very important concept in the blockchain. The mobile phone case on the left is designed by us to hire an illustrator to talk about the process of moving from real life to the digital world. On the right is an IP of the link point, and in the middle is a bitcoin. I hope that such a cute image can be known to more people through more channels, not just when talking about blockchains or currency.
At the same time, our peers also did some exploration. For example, Coin Printing Mall has introduced some interesting blockchain cultures around. We clearly feel that the current blockchain culture is more of a bitcoin culture, with more emphasis on Bitcoin-related elements. However, we anticipate that, given the recent changes in the domestic winds, the concept of domestic public chains has been mentioned again, and I believe that more blockchain cultural forces will emerge in the future.
This is in cooperation with the original chain project, we have launched a series of illustrations. This afternoon, our “chain-making” platform leader will also appear in the original chain. He will talk about how the ChainNode and the original chain are more integrated than the original chain, and how the ChainNode helps the culture in the original chain. Make more attempts and breakthroughs in the creative field.
This is an attempt at cultural creativity, and the other is about blockchain science.
The way to break the game (2) – science
Blockchain science is very interesting. We have previously launched a program "Unclear Blockchain"; Firecoin and Sina Technology have jointly launched the "Blockchain 100 Q" program. Recently, OKEx is also a science section similar to Sina. In addition, the coin went online to a website, Binance Academy, and I will go see it myself. These programs are very well crafted and very careful. I believe that many of the audience present are blockchain practitioners, and many will interview new recruits. However, there may be a very embarrassing situation during the interview. Although I have some knowledge and understanding of the blockchain, I will ask him some in-depth questions during the interview, and he will find that he can’t say why. Blockchain understanding is rare, or you can't ask for it. As long as friends who have recruited relevant talents in the blockchain will encounter similar situations or dilemmas.
In addition, we hope to cooperate with a number of excellent public chains at home and abroad to cultivate a group of KOLs with deep knowledge and high sense of identity for our partners. Previously, the Babbitt Forum came out of a very good community of KOL. Simultaneously,
We can give partners, the community KOL trained to be equipped with very powerful blockchain cultural weapons. In this piece, we want to be emotionally driven and popularize the blockchain in a more "soft" way. We hope that in the future, the entire blockchain audience should not be just a group of science and engineering men. We should push the blockchain to a larger audience. Finally, we hope that through all kinds of efforts, we will let the entire blockchain become popular with our partners and community KOL.
This is my share today, thank you all!
