Cindy Chen, Managing Director of HKEx, resigned and was responsible for blockchain related business

Cindy Chen, managing director of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, has left the company. Chen joined the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in December last year and was responsible for the post-trade business development. He confirmed his departure in a text message sent to Bloomberg, but refused to comment on his next move. It is reported that when the Hong Kong Stock Exchange takes office, its duties include helping the HKEx to establish a blockchain-based settlement system, making it easier for international investors to trade Chinese listed stocks.
