Bitcoin Core releases the 0.19.0 client, which provides the bech32 address by default.

On November 11th, bitcoin official wallet Bitcoin Core officially released the 0.19.0 version of the client, which is an important update, nearly 6 months from the previous large version of 0.18.0. In the user interface improvements, this version will provide a native quarantine witness address (bech32) by default, and transaction fees for users using such addresses may be reduced. The remaining updates include remote procedure call (RPC), settings, command line interface (CLI), and other underlying optimizations. The next major version, 0.20.0, is scheduled for release on May 3 next year.
