Dutch court orders Facebook to revoke fraudulent bitcoin-related investment advertisements

Dutch billionaire tycoon John de Mol sued Facebook, claiming that he repeatedly demanded the removal of fraudulent bitcoin-related investment advertisements that abused him and other portraits of local celebrities, causing investors to lose 1.7 million euros, but Facebook did not respond. His lawsuit also required Facebook to take steps to prevent the problem from happening again and hand over the scammer information behind the ad. The court ordered Facebook to remove the offending advertisements, or it would impose a fine of up to 1.1 million euros ($1.2 million).
