UK-based crypto-friendly financial technology company Revolut appoints new board chairman

According to Finance Magnates, Revolut, a UK-based encryption-friendly financial technology company, announced that it has appointed Martin Gilbert, former co-CEO of Standard Life Aberdeen, as the new board chairman, and Gilbert will officially take up his new position in January. Gilbert's appointment is not surprising. Revolut CEO Nikolay Storonsky said in an interview earlier this year that he is negotiating with Gilbert to join the board, and the appointment of the chairman seems to be the result of these talks.
