BBC: OneCoin co-founder faces up to 90 years in prison

Earlier, OneCoin co-founder Konstantin Ignatov has acknowledged a number of allegations including money laundering and cryptocurrency fraud. He signed a confession on October 4 this year, but the news was made public. Investigators believe that OneCoin's cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme involves financing up to 4 billion pounds ($4.4 billion) worldwide. The BBC reported that although the court has not formally pronounced it, Ignatov has been sentenced to a maximum of 90 years for fraud.
