Lanzhou network police reminded people to be wary of virtual currency fraud

On November 14, Lanzhou Internet Police WeChat public account issued a message to remind the public that online transactions need to be cautious and alert to virtual currency fraud. The article mentioned that recently, when a citizen was playing a mobile phone, he saw a QQ friend sent him a message introducing CBT (CBT belongs to virtual currency, similar to Bitcoin). After a long chat between the two parties, he credulously believed the other party. After purchasing five CBTs, I made three WeChat transfers. When I asked CBT for the other party, I found that the other party did not respond, and I found that my contact was blacked out and I was found to have been defrauded. The amount of fraud was more than 5,000 yuan.
