According to Bitcoin.com, the Indian government had previously told the Supreme Court that the country’s cryptocurrency bill might be raised during the parliament’s winter meeting. However, the encryption bill is not on the agenda of the lower house of the Indian Parliament. The winter conference will begin on November 18th and end on December 13. Nischal Shetty, CEO of Wazirx Cryptographic Exchange, said: "This is good news for India's cryptocurrency ecosystem. The draft cryptocurrency prohibition bill will not be included in the upcoming parliamentary meeting in November 2019. I am very happy to see that the Indian government is not in a hurry to do so. They are listening."
