The Supreme Court of India has postponed the case of "IAMAI v. Reserve Bank of India" and is expected to be heard in January next year.

According to AMBCrypto, “The IAMAI (Indian Internet and Mobile Communications Association) v. RBI (Repository Bank of India) case has been stagnant since August 2019, after the Supreme Court extended the case for two weeks for partial review. However, the judges of the Supreme Court of India have still not reconvened the hearing for the “IAMAI v. RBI” case because there are other priority cases. The Supreme Court originally planned to reopen the court on November 19, but has now extended the case to January 2020. According to Crypto Kanoon, the Reserve Bank of India’s lawyer appeared in court and asked to adjourn one day in advance. According to the Supreme Court's website, the matter will be heard on January 14, 2020.
