The Paraguayan government plans to carry out cryptocurrency legislation reform

Gresham International, a cryptocurrency law firm, announced this week that it has begun working with the Paraguayan government to develop a new set of cryptocurrency legislation and has submitted a proposal after the government has requested detailed information on the deployment of cryptocurrency and blockchain opportunities. It is proposed to focus on the government's ability to implement quickly and generate the long-term or short-term maximum impact to meet the needs of the country and the cryptocurrency community.
It is understood that the country is currently considering cryptocurrencies as a long-term opportunity for its citizens and foreign companies doing business in the country, but the country currently has no plans to develop national digital currencies.
