Australian police accuse transnational drug trafficking groups of using bitcoin transactions

Recently, the Australian Federal Police (AFP) accused a multinational drug trafficking group of using Bitcoin transactions to purchase and distribute illegal drugs. New Zealander Steen McBeth is facing charges of importing cocaine, ecstasy and ice. Steen McBeth faces 16 charges, and Jackson Li has been charged with eight crimes so far, and three will appear in the Melbourne County Court next month.
