Ripple founder: cryptocurrency is extremely important for reducing liquidity costs and promoting other valuables

Ripple founder Chris Larsen highlighted the importance of blockchain and digital assets in a recent interview. Larsen said that cryptocurrency will be extremely important to reduce liquidity costs and promote other valuables (dollar, yen, renminbi). Existing fiat currencies will always maintain their dominance, although “they need a digital asset to achieve an easy transition from one value to another”. Larsen said that, unfortunately, the lack of regulatory transparency in the US market does hurt innovation and will lead investors and innovators to other countries. He added that although US regulation does not have to be less than Switzerland or Singapore, "they must absolutely have the same clarity."
