Judge: Telegram founder and two employees should testify in SEC lawsuit

According to CoinDesk, a judge ordered that Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov and two other employees should testify in the "SEC lawsuit Telegram". According to a document signed by District Judge P. Kevin Castel in the Southern District Court of New York on Monday, Durov should appear at a "mutually agreed" venue on January 7 or 8, 2020. More than a month later, Telegram will arrange a debate with the SEC in court about the legal status of Gram Tokens. The SEC considers the Gram Token to be an unregistered security.
