Hackers scan massively on Docker platform to mine cryptocurrencies

On November 24, a group of hackers launched a crypto hijacking campaign that scanned up to 59,000 IP networks to find a Docker platform that exposed API endpoints online. In a two-day campaign against Docker, hackers dug 14.82 XMR. The campaign was discovered by US Internet security company Bad Packets on the 25th. Troy Mursch, chief research officer and co-founder of Bad Packets, suggests that users running the Docker platform immediately check if they have exposed their API endpoints on the Internet.
